1. About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of https://caexamedge.in (the "Website") and the exam tests, guidance, mentorship calls and other services offered on it (the "Services"). The Website and Services are operated by CA Exam Edge Mentoring LLP, having its principal place of business at SCO 123-124, Sector 17-C, Chandigarh - 160017, India ("CA Exam Edge", "we", "us", "our").

By using the Website or purchasing any Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or Services.

2. Eligibility and students under 18

You must be at least 18 years old to accept these Terms and make purchases. If you are under 18, your parent or lawful guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf, make or approve the purchase, and supervise your use of the Services. By making a purchase for a student under 18, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on the student's behalf.

3. Our Services

• Exam tests are exam-style test papers (offered as trial tests on topics or subjects chosen by the student, and as subject-wise tests) with evaluation, feedback and suggested answers where stated on the relevant page.
• Guidance and mentorship calls are 20-minute one-on-one video sessions on CA studies, exam preparation, Articleship and career choices.
• We do not provide coaching classes or teach the ICAI syllabus.

The content, duration, number of tests, access period and fees for each Service are as stated on the Website at the time of purchase.

4. Independent platform: not affiliated with ICAI

CA Exam Edge is an independent platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Syllabus, exam schedules, eligibility rules and results are decided solely by ICAI. Always rely on ICAI's official announcements for such matters.

5. No guarantee of results

Our guidance, study plans, test evaluations and feedback are provided to help you prepare. Exam results depend on many factors outside our control, including your own preparation and ICAI's evaluation. We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam, achieve any rank or marks, or secure any Articleship, job or placement.

6. Nature of guidance

Guidance given in mentorship calls, evaluations and other material is educational and general in nature, based on the mentor's knowledge and experience. It is not professional, legal, financial or career advice tailored to guarantee any outcome. Decisions about your studies, Articleship and career remain your own.

7. Your account

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering or booking.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Each account is for one individual student only. Sharing login details or access with others is not permitted and may lead to suspension without refund.

8. Fees and payment

• Fees for each Service are displayed on the Website in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable GST.
• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details.
• A booking or purchase is confirmed only once full payment is received.
• We may change fees at any time, but changes will not affect Services you have already paid for.
• An invoice will be issued by email for every purchase.

9. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Website and in the Services (including question papers, suggested answers, evaluations, study plans, text, graphics and the CA Exam Edge name and logo) belongs to CA Exam Edge or its licensors and is protected by law.

You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the content for your own preparation during your access period. You must not:

• Copy, download (except where downloading is expressly allowed), record, screenshot for distribution, reproduce, sell, share, upload or publish any content
• Share test papers or solutions in groups, forums, social media or with other students
• Record mentorship calls without our prior written consent

Breach of this clause may result in immediate termination of access without refund, and we may take legal action.

11. Acceptable use

When using the Website and Services, you agree not to:

• Behave in an abusive, threatening, discriminatory or disrespectful manner towards the mentor, staff or other students
• Upload or share unlawful, offensive or misleading content, or content that infringes another person's rights
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Website or any account
• Use the Website for any unlawful purpose

12. Your submissions

When you submit answer sheets, questions or feedback, you confirm that the work is your own. You allow us to use your submissions to evaluate your performance and provide feedback. We will not publish your name, marks or submissions without your consent. We may use anonymised feedback or questions to improve our Services.

13. Testimonials and results

We will publish your name, photo, marks or testimonial only with your written consent (and, for students under 18, the consent of your parent or guardian).

14. Availability of the Website

We try to keep the Website and Services available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend access for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control.

15. Third-party services and links

The Services may use or link to third-party platforms, such as video-call tools (Google Meet / Zoom), payment gateways (Razorpay) or the ICAI website. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of an exam attempt, marks, opportunity or time.
• Our total liability to you for any claim relating to a Service will not exceed the amount you paid for that Service.
• Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded by contract.

17. Indemnity

You agree to compensate CA Exam Edge for any loss or claim arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services, including sharing or distributing our content.

18. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, without refund, if you breach these Terms (in particular clauses 7, 10 or 11). You may stop using the Services at any time; refunds, if any, will be as per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

19. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failure to deliver Services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as internet or platform outages, natural disasters, government orders or illness. In such cases, we will reschedule the affected Service or offer a refund for the portion not delivered.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights under consumer protection law, the courts at Chandigarh shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services.
